Collection: Lumbar Cushion Covers

Description

Lumbar cushion covers, longer and slimmer than a square, made to sit across the back of a sofa or a sleek bench, along the foot of a bed or into the corner of an armchair. Ours are block printed by Indian artisans or handwoven, so the pattern and texture have the look of something made by hand. Think Chamomile’s black and green geometric with its centre stripe, and the woven texture of our Bhujodi cotton.

Styling them

A lumbar cover works best as the finishing layer. On a bed, lay one across two square cushions in a quieter tone. On a sofa or armchair, set it against a plain linen or a smaller print so the pattern has room to stand out. If your bedroom already has a bold bedspread, choose a calmer lumbar to sit on top of it.
