Collection: Borrowed Countryside - Cushions, Quilts, Curtains & Napkins, Inspired by the Countryside

Most of us live in cities now, with a balcony instead of a garden. Borrowed Countryside is Deodar's collection of handcrafted block print cushion covers, quilted bedspreads, a lace curtain and a cross stitch napkin, made to bring a little of that other life indoors.

Each piece is named for the world it borrows from,  like Chamomile, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Thyme Garden and Earl Grey, drawn from the kitchen gardens and country style pantry shelves this collection takes its cues from. The Chamomile, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Thyme Garden and Earl Grey cushion covers are hand block printed in cotton.

The Vintage Meadow and Orchard Rose quilted bedspreads carry the same old-world ditsy florals. The Normandy Oatmeal lace curtain and Madeira cross stitch napkin lean on the quieter, slower crafts, the kind you'd call your grandmother's hobbies.

Together, the earthy, muted palette across the collection is what ties it to the great outdoors, evoking a countryside you can still feel even from a high-rise.
